Managing Resource Consumption

Managing resource consumption has always been and will increasingly become a challenge for manufactures and society. Whilst recent advances in devices and communication infrastructure are allowing us to capture more and more data about the resources we are consuming, challenges remain in how to utilise this information to make better decisions. Within our research we are investigating several challenges related to monitoring and analysis of electricity consumption within manufacturing activities. These include;
